[teacherartexchange] Freebies 2006

        Hi Everyone!

Many of you are familiar with my "freebies". I can't throw anything away so I give away, free... defective, misprinted or discontinued items to art teachers in the USA. I do request shipping reimbursement. Among the collection are totes, aprons, shirts, potholders, ornaments, key chains, clock faces, memo boards, coasters, mouse pads, hats, possibly paper, plain magnet, printed magnets and more. Most have printed images that we deemed defective or were employee practice products. You are not permitted to resell any items but you can certainly imagine and invent new ways to use the stuff. If you are interested in receiving a SURPRISE box of freebies, contact me privately and I'll download the order form to you. It's major clean up time and all surplus must be out by January 20th so please respond quickly. I ask only for shipping reimbursement.

Special note: I have lots of plain, blank, white magnets. They come 20 little pre-scored magnets to a 8.5 x 11" sheet and could easily be made into vocabulary magnets for chalk boards. Something I had fully intended to do this past year and many of you sent me wonderful lists to use but I didn't accomplish the task I set out to do. Magnets are heavy so these will increase cost of shipping. Note on the form if you want magnets. We'll try to oblige the while supplies last.

For those on the lists that have received "freebies" from me over the years, I hope you have put them to good use! I'd love to see those painted tote bags, hats, and aprons and anything else that you've created with the recyclables. (Gesso over printed items and paint away! Use ornament shapes as stencils, contour draw on memo boards and use again and again using dry erase pens...imagine)

        Best regards from Marty Reid
